I’m a left-handed artist working from my studio in Tagaytay. My practice is about capturing the weight and atmosphere of a moment, the way a landscape or a bird actually feels when the light is shifting. I’ve moved away from literal details to focus on a more subjective, painterly style that highlights the raw emotion of the scene. Everything in my archive is a physical original on professional 100% cotton paper. I don’t offer prints or digital reproductions, so each piece is a singular, one-of-a-kind record. They are intended to bring a sense of quiet and sanctuary into your home.

About the artist
The Left-Handed Pursuit
I didn’t take a traditional path to watercolor. Instead of a classroom, my practice was shaped by a personal refusal to follow the "right" way. As a left-handed, self-taught artist, I found that my hand naturally wanted to smudge the edges and find the dream-logic in a scene rather than its literal reality. I eventually stopped fighting that instinct, and that is where my style truly began.Atmospheric. Raw. Subjective.
I am drawn to what I call "layered emotions", those feelings that don’t have a single name. My paintings of Philippine birds and landscapes are less about photorealism and more about a specific, fleeting viewpoint. I often paint from unconventional angles, the perspective of an insect in the grass or a bird’s-eye view of a Palawan coastline, using an unconventional palette that breaks the rules of traditional color theory.From the Mountain Sanctuary
Every piece in my archive is created in the quiet, high-altitude air of my sanctuary in the Philippines. I work exclusively with professional-grade pigments and 100% cotton paper because I believe art should be a lasting investment. These aren't mass-produced images, they are singular, physical records of a moment in time that can never be replicated.I invite you to explore my current collections.
